AccountRight Plus 2013.5 - Windows 10

Hi

I've recently had to replace my computer & now have Windows 10.

I'm unable to backup MYOB file, with the error message "The connection to the server was lost. Please check that the server is on and connected to the network". I have tried to follow the instructions in other threads, but believe the problem to be Windows 10 related.

Woek has been entered prior to discovering this issue - is there any way to save this work & resolve the issue, moving forward?

Many thanks

PaminBris

Re: AccountRight Plus 2013.5 - Windows 10

Hi @Paminbris

This error message generally relates to the missing .backup folder in the library location. The library location by default is C:\Users\Public\Documents\MYOB\My AccountRight Files and My AccountRight Files should have hidden .backups folder.

I am not sure if you have found this in other threads but the resolution would involve first checking the library location to see if the hidden folder .backup is there, as adding it back fixes this error.  If it is missing, it can be recreated by following the steps on Error: Windows shared folder can't be created.

Please let me know how you go on.

Kind regards,
Komal
