Backup Accountright 2020.2

Hi All,

We have recently updated MYOB to 2020.2. We have completed a backup everyday since the install but MYOB is telling us the last back up was completed 8 days ago. Is anyone else having this issue and does anyone know how to resolve it?

Thanks

Yes we are having same issue, its saying our back up was 14 days ago, which in fact we back up every day, and the back ups are appearing in the folder.

Yes - definitely - the backup works fine vut MYOB no longer keeps track of the days - probably since the last update.

We are also having the same issue.  It is Also saying that "Administrator" is still logged in, it's not, and that they will be kicked out once the back up starts.

Re: Backup Accountright 2020.2

Hi @SH4 , @StephanieT58 , @MOTIVATED , @TrezC

As @Tracey_H  mentioned, AccountRight 2020.2 not updating when the backup has been taken is something that we raised with the required team for further investigation and we will post an update on this thread once we have any further information.

In the meantime, please ignore the last backup date and user login messages, and manually retrieve the backup from specified location.

Please feel free to post should you have any other queries.

Kind regards,
Komal

Re: Backup Accountright 2020.2

No the message has not been corrected - the backups work fine its just a bit disconcerting when it says that you have not backed up for 20 days - especially when the boss is looking over your shoulder!

Re: Backup Accountright 2020.2

Hi @MJLC and @StephanieT58

Our team are investigating the issue where when performing a back up the date doesn’t update as it should. Although the backup is being taken successfully, as can be verified by opening the location where your saving the backup to.

We do apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Cheers,
Tracey
