I’ve made a slight change to your account which should allow you to confirm the file. In the event the confirmation fails you’d need to speak with our team. Please don’t try confirming the file multiple times as this can cause the confirmation process to lock and prevent the file from confirming

Hi Neil

My Ver 17.5 file has now been activatedand so all is well. The only problem now is that it no longer has STP.

Questions:

1. Can STP be attached to Ver 17.5?

2. If not how do I cancel the $10 monthly fee

3. Do you know a good STP provider?

As the $10 MYOB Essentials payroll is a separate program to AccountEdge, theres no direct link between the two programs. As such information entered into one program will not appear in the other, instead you would have to enter the information into both programs in some form.

 

AccountEdge v17.5 does not have STP functionality, as previously discussed. As such if you wanted to remain with MYOB for your STP compliance obligations you would be looking at either upgrading to the latest release of AccountEdge or take advantage of the $10 MYOB Essentials Payroll package, assuming it was right for your business.

 

Cancellations are handled by our cancellations team on 1300 555 151

I previously downloaded STP [I suspect when I mistakenly downloaded Ver 18] and am currently paying the $10 Essentilas fee. Now that I am now back to correctly operating 17.5 amd my file has been confirmed, do I just download STP again?

HI @NickCooper4 

 

As your serial number is only entitled to use AccountEdge Pro v17.5 this is the latest version you can use. Opening and using the file in anything newer will result in your file being unable to be confirmed again. If you wanted to use a newer version, such as an STP enabled version of AccountEdge you will need to purchase a subscription to be entitled to use that version.

 

Please note that there is no separate downloadable STP function for MYOB products, they are integrated within the different programs.

 

As has been mentioned MYOB Essentials Payroll is a different and separate program. This is accessed through the MYOB Essentials web portal, which can be accessed by going to the MYOB website >> Sign In >> MYOB Essentials. This will prompt you for an email address and password to access your MYOB Essentials payroll file.
