Custom Reports - User Access

Did anyone else's Users lose access to Custom Reports after the 2022.10. Update last night?

 

There is nothing in the update notes about changes to reports or user access. 

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi @Tiah and @Zohayr 

 

To assist our teams investigate this can you please provide the following information:

 

  1. Can any user see the custom forms?
  2. Is it only the browser that is affected or both browser and desktop?
  3. Do they appear if you use another device?
  4. Do you give permission for a product specialist to access your file to look into this? If yes, please provide the last FOUR digits of the serial number and the Company File ID (Help>>About MYOB AccountRight)

-No users can see the custom reports other than the administrator.

-Both Brower and desktop are affected.

-does not appear no matter what device is used 

-please contact me directly for access to my file

Hi @Tiah and @Zohayr 

 

Our product specialist team have confirmed that in previous versions of AccountRight users could see all custom reports. In 2022.10 users need access to the function that the base report lives in to view those custom reports. This is to prevent users from seeing custom reports for functions they don't have access to.

Hi @Tracey_H , this does not appear to be in the 2022.10 release notes.

 

Some bookkeepers, who probably have unrestrained access, have reported 'losing' all their custom reports. Is that possibly related?

Hi Tracey

This is an inconvenience as a lot of clients do not wish to give module access to staff but are happy to give them access to certain customised reports.

 

Are MYOB looking to revert back to allow access to custom reports?

Hi I am also having this issue since the last upgrade.

I cannot find mt Timesheets Report in Custom Reports and also Aged Details Report that were there before this upgrade.

1.My administrator can see the reports

2.Both affected

3.Yes my administrator can see these on his desktop

4.Yes my serial no ends in 5786 and my company file ID IS 2022.10.24.7529
