HI
I have two clients that I have had for years using Desktop AccountRight v19.13. I have been using Windows 10 for many years with no problems. I now can not open these data files using Windows 10. I am a myob partner. Can anyone help me here. I have seen a few posts but could not work it out. These clients do not want to go online.

Hi @Elisem
I'm not sure what has been done/changed on your computer, but you can always reinstall AccountRight v19.13 since the error message is pointing to the installation.
You can download the version installer from this page - MYOB Software Downloads, uninstall the existing 19.13 then reinstall it. I'd also suggest to have all Windows updates installed and any anti-virus software temporarily disabled prior to the reinstall.

HI thanks for that. I tried that. Uninstalled old version. Reinstalled myob but still same message. Any other suggestions. Same message came up. "installation error"

Hi @Elisem
Can you attach a screenshot? Without seeing it sounds like a permission issue (unless it is 'Initialisation error'). Try right click on setup or install file and select Run as administrator, this may solve.

HI Gavin, I have done this and tried creating new file, same message. I am the only one who has access to this computer. I tried another computer that does not use Windows 10 and it worked, however, thats not my computer. Tried repairing myob, removed and reinstalled - nothing. really would love to get this solved. appreciate your help.
