Re: Exporting into Excel Format error message

Hi @DejongHoists , welcome to the forum! The msg indicates that the template cannot be found in the relevant location. And option 4 was the correct choice, as AccountRight must be the last installed program.

See https://help.myob.com/wiki/display/ar/Microsoft+Excel+templates for locations. Browse the folder to check if it's there. Normally, reinstalling AccountRight will bring that file back.

If it's not, have you had previous versions of AccountRight, prior to 2020.4? If so, check the relevant folder and if found, copy into the new version's folder. If no previous version, go to https://www.myob.com/au/support/downloads (replace au with nz if necessary), and download 2020.4 and install that, then hopefully find the file in that folder.

Re: Exporting into Excel Format error message

Thank you @Mike_James

It worked, not sure why it did not work before. May be your post was a good luck charm Smiley Happy

The only thing different I did was to use a registery cleaner software to ensure that nothing from MYOB old softwares has been left behind this time. Otherwise I simply unistalled both MS Office and MYOB and then reinstalled MS Office first and then MYOB Accountright PC edition and now the export function works as it should.
