MYOB Update message

We upgraded to the latest version of MYOB at the end of June and all has been fine, however, yesterday and again today when I've opened my files I'm getting a message telling me I need to upgrade to the latest version before 17 July. Why am I getting this message?

Re: MYOB Update message

Hi @Kerry28

Periodically we decommission older online versions of AccountRight to ensure the best performance of the online files. This is explained on our post about this - AccountRight 2019.3, 2019.4 and 2020.1 Scheduled decommissioning.

Do ensure that you have upgraded and are using the latest version of AccountRight, being 2020.2 to avoid being impacted by the decommissioning.

Regards,
Neil

Re: MYOB Update message

OK thanks Neil.......so, because we are already using the newest version of MYOB we don't need to do anything more and we can disregard the message prompt?

Re: MYOB Update message

Hi @Kerry28

That’s correct, if you are opening the file in and using AccountRight 2020.2 you can safely disregard the message. You an confirm which version you are using through Help >> About AccountRight

Neil
