Hi everyone, 

Further to this, if anyone is still experiencing this issue, an update to resolve the issue has been rolled out and will install automatically.


Therefore, please leave AccountRight open, on any error screen that may have presented, in order to allow for the automatic update to download and complete. The update may take up to 10 minutes. You can then close the error message and restart the application ( This step does not involve reinstallation of SQL Server or AccountRight).

How about MYOB puts a stop to this Auto-updating fiasco ?

 

Leave people to update when they are ready and when you have actually tested it properly 

 

We aren't paying you to be Guineapigs

Get used to this message and the one that says MYOB needs to restart.. It will follow most evry time you open MYOB.

Yet more instability with MYOB.

But hey, let's increase parter fees a bit more to cover the extra work myob developers again need to do to fix another issue.

They haven't fixed the error message about backup even though it is performing a backup.

Do we all just ignore messages and find another product

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing these issues with automatic updates. Once your file is ready for the automatic upgrade, you will receive a message to restart the software. However, after you have restarted and the file is upgraded, this message should not recur. If you're experiencing a situation different to that, please give us the exact details of what errors you're getting, so we can investigate further. 

 

We also understand that a number of users are impacted by the recent price increase of our products. For those who are impacted and would further like to discuss that increase, we recommend contacting our Accounts and billing team on 1300 793 130.

MYOB doesnt actually need an update to crash, it crashes regardless, always did, and unfortunately from experience it appears that it always will.

Think it is time to go back to an excell sheet  ,,lol
