MYOB won't run - Windows 10 upgrade demands .NetFramework v4.6.2

We can't run MYOB....

Using Account Right 2019.4

just upgraded to Win10

Error message when attempting to launch MYOB

Box header: MYOB.AccountRight.API.AddOnConnector.exe - this application could nto be started.

then: This application requires one of the following versions on the .NET Framework:

.NetFramework, Version = 4.6.2

Do you want to install this .NET Framework now? Y/N

My IT guys tells me that this is an error. How can we fix pls?

Re: MYOB won't run - Windows 10 upgrade demands .NetFramework v4.6.2

Hi @AUMOW

AccountRight 2019.4 does require the user to have Microsoft .Net Framework 4.6.2 to be installed as per the system requirements. From the message you are receiving, it does indicate that the version of .Net Framework is not installed on your computer and would need to be installed to allow that program installation to continue.

I would recommend selecting Yes to that particular message to install that Microsoft component. Alternatively, you can download that version directly from the Microsoft website. You may wish to consult an IT person with respect to installing that .Net Framework.

Kind regards,
Steven

Thanks Steven_M. It  seems so logical when the system tells you to install a component. It's just not the advice I was given by either IT dude or MYOB LiveChat dude.

Anyhoo, I have done as instructed and you would not believe it - it worked! Hilarious!

Cheers for your prompt (and accurate) advice.
