Payroll option has disappeared when I upgraded file V19 to 2019

I am entitled to 2 online files however when my files were migrated the payroll information for one of my companies was not.  I now need to commence payroll through this company again and my historical data and functuionality is not there.

Hi @HRapp 

 

If the v19 file had no payroll data at all, after upgrading it to the new AccountRight the new file may be automatically identified as a lower level product, hence the payroll module isn't visible. 

 

In order to update that, please open the company file, go to Help > Change Product. Select your correct product level, it will then confirm the company file serial number online and reflect the correct product level.

Thanks Clover,

 

We did have historical transactions, as we were using it for payroll in 2015, however not a the time it was upgraded.

Hi CloverQ,

 

Yes, thank you the product upgraded however none of the historical tranactons are there.  Hopefully the V19 will continue to be supported in case I ever need to access them from my pre-upgrade file.

Thanks for the update, I'm glad to hear that the Payroll function is there now. 

 

While we no longer provide technical support for AccountRight Classic range now, you can certainly still leave the version installed, restore from any previous payroll year backups to view past information.
