Remove online Company file

Remove online Company file

Hello,

 

There are two online company files with the same name that make confusion. How can I remove File ID = 1  please?

Hi @NoelJones 

 

You can separate them by renaming one of the files. To do so please backup the file you wish to change name for, then restore from the backup, you'll be able to edit the file name when choosing to restore it online.

 

If you no longer wish to have the file online at all, please send me a forum private message with the following details:

 

- Serial number

- Your full name

- Confirm that you've already made a backup of file ID 1

 

You can do so by mouse over my avatar and choose 'Send a message'.

Hi Clover,

 

Thanks for your quick responce

I tried to rename by geting backup and try to rename when restoring, no luck! I can rename it locally on "my Library" not names shown as online Company files.

I'll send private message for removing File ID = 1 please

Just looping back to update this thread - the online file (file ID 1) has been successfully removed from cloud and I have replied to your private message.
