The serial number doesn't match your account

I am finally upgrading from AR v19.5 to 2018.4. When I try and upload my file I get the error message that the "serial number doesn't match your account" . I have serached other posts and the culprit in most cases is tied up with the email address of the account owner -I have no idea what address is registered and cant wait on hold for 1 hour to find out . Any suggestions?

Hi @PPKev

 

You're spot on, the error is thrown whenever the Emailed Address that was used to sign in is not a listed Owner to the Serial Number of the file.

 

To look into this we would need to know the Serial Number within the file to be able to see what to do here. This can be done by opening the file in the previous software (v19) and then going to: Setup > Company Information.

 

Could you send me a Private Message with this Serial Number and the Email Address you used to sign in so I can investigate this further?
