We recently updated to AccountRight Version 2019.1 SE.

 

Wow, what a surprise....MORE ERRORS

 

Today we get kicked out with every transaction we are entering or looking at.

This message appears:

This session has expired.

Your company file session has expired because of inactivity, or an AccountRight Live administrator is upgrading or restoring the file. Please sing on to your company file again.

Close.

 

As we have been using the file continuosly, it can't be due to inactivity, and as I am the administor and I am not making changes, I have no idea why this keeps happening.

Hi @Haire 

 

We are currently investigating a number of "This session has expired" messages with AccountRight 2019.1 for clients. Generally, we are seeing clients on the Server Edition encountering that particular message. In saying that, some clients have found some success with going through Help Article: AccountRight server service issues on the host machine.

Yes we are experiencing this too ever since the latest update.  Very frustrating and for us it is not due to inactivity as we are usually using the system when it happens.

We also have the same issue, we can sometimes only run for a few seconds before it times out. We are running the Account Right 2019 Server Edition, Windows 7, 64 bit. Tried the registry repair from the link form Steven above but this does not even run properly Cannot import...Error opening the file

Very sorry about the delayed response. 

 

We have released an updated v2019.1 Server Edition installer to address this particular problem. Please do upgrade the software on the server if you haven't ready done so.

Thanks, we manually updated the registry to use the new port number and this seems to have fixed it.
