HI,
We are a small SAAS company in the energy space and have had our accounts managed by one individual who has the account files stored within the MYOB instance of their fanmily trust. We are at a point where we want to split this off into a new MYOB account in order to house all accounting files and entries in a company account.
How do we go about this transfer of files? Is there an ability to export the entire business accounting file and import it into a new account.
We have created a new account already. Any and all assistance with this is apprecaited.
Thanks

Hi @rweston
If both the existing business file and the new account are both AccountRight family products, then most of the data types can be exported and imported across. Please check out this Help page Import and Export fields for more information on what can be imported.
Consider that the existing file contains data of both entities, when the raw data are exported, you can open the exported file in Excel to remove irrelevant data, save the file back to a .txt file for importing.
If you have any further questions please feel free to let us know.
Kind regards,
Clover
