Transferring Offline Data Files

Can I take an offline Data File from our current MYOB AR Premier & upload it onto a new subscription of MYOB Business Lite or similar?

We do offer an upgrade service to migrate AccountRight company files to MYOB Business.

Do check out Move online to MYOB Business for more information and to get started with that service (if required).

@Steven_M  Thank you, I don't require any payroll for these company files so MYOB lite will be sufficient, is that not possible?

Hi @dieseldigit 

Provided you are not using multi-currency (which you wouldn't be as you are using AccountRight Plus) you would be able to migrate that information to MYOB Business.

So I see I need to purchase all the individual MYOB Business Lite Accounts per offline Company Data File which we are looking to upgrade [we have 4] - the issue right now is we are unable to access any of these files due to a recent update using AR 2022.10...[Screenshot attached]

Do we need to bring in an IT guy to fix this, we have very limited skillsets when it comes to uninstalling & reinstalling, new servers etc.?

Hi @dieseldigit 

That is correct, you would need a separate MYOB Business subscription for each AccountRight company file you wish to migrate. As such, if you need to migrate 4 AccountRight files you would be looking at 4 MYOB Business Subscriptions.
