Unable to open offline files after upgrading to 2019.4

I am unable to open offline company files after upgrading AccountRight from version 2019.3 to 2019.4. I have 2 online files which have upgraded and opened in the new version but the offline files won't. It asks if you want to open the company file in the new version and then comes up with the login screen. After entering password, the progress circle spins in the middle and then the screen says "(not responding)" at the top and the program crashes. I now cannot open the company file in the previous version either. Please help.

Re: Unable to open offline files after upgrading to 2019.4

Hi @JoStuart

I would have it a guess that you might need to arrange for the file to be run through the tool that is available on Unable to open AccountRight file before you open that file in AccountRight. In saying that, if you would like to provide a copy of the diagnostic file we'll be happy to see if that is the case.

Kind regards,
Steven

Hi Steven,

I just tried the Hotfix tool and it has worked. The files now open, thank you
