I have received some files from a client and it prompts me to upgrade them to 2023.1 to open which I have done and it says the file has been successfully upgraded. When I try and open the file it just takes its time and then shuts down myob altogether. It seems to be happening on files that were on older versions as i tried another file that was version 2022.7 and it did the same thing.
Any suggestions as I need to work on the clients file.

Would recommend taking a look at Unable to open recently upgraded company file and using the tool that is listed on that post. This has worked for other users reporting similar situations.
