Update error - API Add-On Connector is unavailable

Hi, I've been trying to update MYOB from 2017.1.1 to 2018.1.1 (Account Right Live Plus).

 

When I run the installer, i get an error message that says:

 

MYOB Add-Onn Connector (API)

The feature you are trying to us is on a network resource that is unavailable.

Click ok to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'MYOB.AccountRight.API.AddOnConnector.Installer.msi'

 

I've tried searching my computer for the installer file, but cannot find it.

 

I have 3 computers here that are all having the same issue.

 

Please help. Thanks!

I am getting the same, have been on hold for 25 minutes so far and no help at all. Typical MYOB, lots of promises but short on delivery!

Welcome to the MYOB Forum.

 

Unfortunately I have found the wait time for MYOB Phone Support to be longer then normal, around this time due to the NZ End of Financial Year.

 

Looking at this error there is a couple of things I would need to know. What environment are you installing the update on, such as a terminal server? This will tell me whether you need to install the MSI installer or not

 

If you are installing this on all your computers and getting the same error, it could be some trouble with your network connection. To be able to see what the is the cause is exactly
