Hi there, why am I not getting prompts in MYOB when there are new updates available? We do have a subscription so that's not the problem. Thanks.
There are a few things that can cause this. One thing that we can try is to reinstall your version of the software and remove any old version installed. Then download the latest version 2017.2 which you can get help to do this by looking at this help page here, Getting the latest version (click to open).
There is an update coming out soon (2018.1) which will give you a good test run.
I have tried downloading 2017.2 and it downloads but when I then try to run it I get the message as attached and I'm not sure I want to uninstall anything!
This screen is letting you know that you already have 2017.2 installed. This means that you would not be receiving any update notifications because you already have the latest version (until 2018.1 comes out) installed.
Typically you would see the icon/shortcut for 2017.2 on your desktop already. If you don't I would recommend speaking with your IT professional to help out.
