Can't Upgrade 2022.10 SE

Hi Chris

Can you solve my 2 problems

I can't upgrade to accountright 2022.10 SE, just get blue wheel spins twice then nothing

Whenever you do an upgrade to accountright, we can't export to Excel until we do the upgrade - problem with XLT file

Re: Can't Upgrade 2022.10 SE

Hello @justfitz

If the .XLT files are not in the folder location, you can have issues when exporting.

Try reinstalling the AccountRight software making sure the anti-virus is disabled and running the installer as admin (ie right click run as administrator), or try installing the server edition.

The reinstall of AccountRIght might also resolve the upgrade issue you are facing.

Kind regards,
Chris

Re: Upgrade 2022.10 is frozen

Why are  we unable to open some of  our data bases in 2022.9 but not all.   Unable to open any in 2022.10 but able to go back to 2022.9 in some.

Need to keep working in the short time and resolve 2022.10 down the track

Re: Can't Upgrade 2022.10 SE

The problem only happens when new upgrade is out , server running 2022.9 and new 2022.10 released

User can't export to excel

CSmiley Indifferentusers\public\documents\MYOB\Accountright\2022.9\reports\spreadsheet\SALITMD.XLT

just get error message ERROR

This also happened when accountright 2022.8 when to 2022.9, before I had a chance to upgrade the server to 2022.9

Hello @jill5

Are you able to please send the AccountRight Diagnostics log I will be able to look into the issue further as to what could be causing this once I have it.

Thank you @justfitz  for the additional information, as mentioned if you reinstall the AccountRight software under administrator or install the server edition this has been seen to resolve this issue.

Kind regards,
Chris

Hello @justfitz

Sorry for the delay in my response.

If you ever need to find the diagnostics log you'll be able to follow this post on AccountRight Diagnostics Log which contains steps on where to locate ad retrieve it when needed.

Kind regards,
