Upgrade to 2021.2.1 unable to run reports

I have the automatic upgrade to 2021.2.1 but am unable to run any reports. Just get a message saying not responding then MYOB drops out... any suggestions please?

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community Forum! Can I please confirm if you're still experiencing this ? If you are, can you please clear your AccountRight cache. Once cleared can you run the reports ?

Hi @debhanco

 

Thanks for troubleshooting that. Can you please uninstall and reinstall AccountRight, once reinstalled can you run the reports ?

Hi,

 

I am also unable to run any Aged Receivable or Aged Payable reports since I upgraded yesterday.

 

I have followed the instructions above - cleared the cache, uninstalled, reinstalled and restarted computer. 

 

Still not able to open reports. I am receiving the 'Operation Timeout' message immediately when I try to open the report.

 

Please help!

Thanks for your posts. Can I please confirm the following:

  • Are you running AccountRight on a local computer or server ? 
  • Do you have the PC edition of AccountRight installed or the Server edition ? 
  • Do you have any antivirus softwares installed on your computer ?
  • Are there any background programs running at the time of working on AccountRight ?

Thanks for your reply.

 

I am running AccountRight on a local computer.

 

I did not know there was an option of a PC edition or server edition so I am not sure which edition I am using. It is the same edition that I have always used. (I have been using MYOB for 19 years and AccountRight Live for around 4 years). I just click the 'update'  when it appears on the popup screen on start up after a new release. Is there a way of telling if it is the PC or server edition?

 

I removed antivirus software so that I could try to fix this problem as a previous post suggested this. 

 

I usually have Outlook and Google Chrome running at the same time as working on AccountRight but in trying to solve the MYOB issue I have closed all programs and only had MYOB running and still I have the problem.

I am also running on a local computer.

I have the PC version and have tried running with my antivirus disabled, but this makes no difference.

I do not have programs running in the background.. 

Getting desparate!!

Thank you for confirming those details. To troubleshoot can you please download the server edition and attempt to run the report. Does it work ? You can download the server edition via your my.MYOB  account or our downloads page
