Upgrading Server Edition from 2022.9 to 2022.11

G'day All,

We have done a successful upgrade from 2022.9 to 2022.11 by a) uninstalling 2022.9, b) installing 2022.11.

We see the "MYOB AccountRight Server 2022.11" service start and PC clients can connect successfully and open our company file.

We then upgraded the company file.

However, upon reboot of the Windows Server the "MYOB AccountRight Server 2022.11" service disappears, i.e. no longer in Services.

We then uninstall 2022.11, reinstall 2022.9 and all is good again even after a reboot.

We tried the same with 2022.10 with the same issue.

Event viewer does not show any anomalies.

C:\ProgramData\MYOB\AccountRight\Diagnostics logs do not show any anomalies.

Interestingly there is a C:\ProgramData\MYOB\AccountRight\2022.10 folder but not for 2022.11

Our server is:

OS Name: Microsoft Windows Server 2019 Standard
OS Version: 10.0.17763 N/A Build 17763

Is there anything else we can try or look at?

Thanks.

The solution was a workaround - migrate to the cloud.
