I created a new file and was sent a link to download it, and that installed Version 2018.4.
I now need to use it on a different pc but can only download 2018.3, and it won't let me open the 2018.4 file under that version.
I therefore need help to either cancel the 2018.4 file and re-create it in 2018.3, or I need access to 2018.4.

AccountRight 2018.4 is in the process of releasing to clients and the update should be made available to all clients shortly through in product messaging and other avenues.
In your case, I have sent you a private message on the Forum in regards to obtaining an installer for that version of the program.

I have the same problem where MYOB was set up by my bookeeper and I access my file by logging into my file. I now need to update to 2018.4 because I can't use my file. I am unable to log in using my bookeeper's name and password as it requires 2 level authority. All I need is the update. I'm stuck in the middle of no where.
