unable to open supplier cards

Hi,

I am unable to open any cards (supplier, customer or employee). Having read through some previous reports of a similar nature, I understant that a script might need to be run over the file?

 

  • Where the company file is stored i.e. online or local   Stored online
  • What the LAST FOUR DIGITS of the serial number is - Setup>>Company Information  7208
  • What is the company file ID - Help>>About AccountRight  ID 2

Thank you for the post!

 

We are aware of an issue that will prevent employee cards from being opened. Not aware of any thing relating to supplier cards not being able to be opened. Could you provide additional information into what is happening.

Hi there,

the window doesn't open when I click on the blue arrow to open a card. this happens for all card information from any window (ie. from the card register or new sale/purchase windows). also spend money and receive money windows do not open.

Any help is much apprciated!

Hi @nmcginniss 

 

Sounds like the window(s) is opening but off-screen, therefore, it is not showing when selected. I would go close the software, reopen the company file and attempt to open the required window. If it doesn't open on the screen go to the Windows Menu (top of the screen) and select Cascade. This will pull all open windows into a cascade format, which should pull those windows back onto the screen so they can be seen

 

You also might want to ensure that Setup>>Preferences>>Windows>>Save Window Sizes and locations is enabled to ensure that changes are saved.
