ACCOUNT SEPERATOR - DECIMAL POINT

In previous versions of myob you used to be able to use the decimal point as an account seperator - so entereing an account would be 6.5000.   Now you have to use either "-" or nothing and if you do use the decimal point (as after 10 years of data entry I am used to doing) it just brings up the list and it takes about 3-4 steps to correct what you have done and just wastes time.

Re: ACCOUNT SEPERATOR - DECIMAL POINT

It's just a matter of getting used to change - if using other accounting software like accounting MYOB software for accountants -you enter codes such as 940 or 892 and that software puts the initial numeric in automatically - so it's all different and I have to use both every day so it isn't an issue going from one to the other.  It is good to be able to change and adjust and good for the brain and good for the development of ability.  MYOB is very user friendly and the fact that the windows open up from so many different places and not just one designated place is really fantastic and user friendly.
