AccountRight timing out since last update

Hi there

 

There was an update, something to do with "Direct Debit is here".  Since then, when I try to select a recurring transaction, or go into my Purchases inbox, MYOB times out.

 

Thanks for your help with this.

 

Also, if you apply the "Time Out Extender" fix from June 2019, does that just extend the time before the application times out?

Hi @RachatGA 

 

A timeout error is caused when AccountRight is being asked to process more information than it can handle in a specific timeframe.

 

When you are experiencing timeout errors in AccountRight, I would recommend going through the steps of these articles: AccountRight not responding and Speed and performance tips.

 

The timeout extender indeed extends the time before AccountRight gives you the timeout error. The extra time is sometimes enough when the timeout is due to a large amount of data AccountRight has to process.

 

If the issue still persists, can you please select a recurring transaction or go into your purchases inbox and provide the error log and the diagnostic log. This post has the instructions for getting those logs: AccountRight log locations.

 

Also, does it work when your company file is offline? Does it happen to different user? Have you tried doing this on a different computer?

 

You could also consider using AccountRight in the browser. Note: Not all functions are available yet: read more.
