Bulk Import (Spend and Receive Money) - Accountright Standard

Hi,

Would I be able to do bulk import of transactions?

I was doing a test (see attached) but was not giving me a successfull output (attached is the import log).

Please advise of the proper format or template to bulk import.

Thanks.

Regards,
Cherise

Re: Bulk Import (Spend and Receive Money) - Accountright Standard

Hi @cherisesagun

There are a couple of things that you would need to address in the import file to make sure it is in the correct format:

  • As there is no blank line between transactions, the system thinks that those two transactions (218 & 219) are actually the one transaction. So a blank line between the transactions is required
  • The Date format of the transactions do need to be addressed. Ideally, the format should be xx/xx/xxxx
  • The transaction values are not formatted correctly with regards to the Inc-Tax Amount column. This is should be the same as the Ex-Tax amount plus any tax on the transaction.

Along with that, for myself, I did have to add hyphens after the first character in the account fields to ensure that it imported successfully for myself.

Kind regards,
Steven
