Converting one line on a purchase order to a bill

Hi All,

Just setting up MYOB AccountRight and we are going to use service layout for the purchase orders and each line item will be a milestone for a project.

When the invoice comes in for one milestone, can the bill be created for that one line item or do you create bill and have to delete the rest of the line items.

It would be ideal if you could choose one line item and the rest of the purchase order remains until all line items are billed.

Any suggestions please?

Re: Converting one line on a purchase order to a bill

Hi @Tango

Thanks for your post.

In the way the software works, it isn't possible to create a bill in the Service Layout for 1 line item as the software sees the entire purchase order as 1 bill.

The only way around this, would be to record the separate lines as individual purchase orders. Or alternatively, if you have sent those invoices already, delete the rest of the line items when the invoice comes in. You will then have to create new bills for the other invoices that will come in.

Kind regards,
Yanike
