Customise Invoices

When you print a Statement the total amount due appear on the bottom of the form.

 

I have a customer when wants to show this amount of the bottom of each Invoice, so his driver knows how much is the total to collect. Customer produces hundreds of Invoices, so a lot of work to include statements with each.

 

Can anyone advise if we could add additional fields in a customised Invoice?

Here are the support notes for customising forms such as invoices:

 

For New AccountRight 2011 and Later, see support note Customising forms in the new AccountRight

For Classic AccountRight v19 and Earlier, see support note Customising forms in AccountRight v19 and earlier

 

The following fields will show total amount, any paid amount and balance owing for the printed invoice;

Total: Total amount of invoice

Applied: amount already paid

Balance: Balance owing which is Total less Applied

 

Do you want to show these fields or show the total balance owing of all invoices?

Hi there @GraemeR,

 

The software does indeed allow for you to add additional fields to your customized invoices - this can be done by selecting the 'Additional Fields' option towards the top of the window after opening up the customized form template (via Set up > Customize Forms > selecting the relevant form > Customize).

 

However, none of the fields available allow the option to show the total amount due (for all invoices) for the relevant customer. As @GDK has mentioned, the fields that the program allows to insert into your customized templates include the total and balance - both of which refer to the individual invoice, unfortunately.

 

This idea to incorporate outstanding balances on individual invoices has been suggested on our AccountRight Idea Exchange. As ideas posted on the board are prioritized based on popularity (as deemed by votes and comments), I would highly recommend that you vote for the idea by clicking the '+ VOTE' button next to the subject heading. Please note that when an idea is set to be implemented into the software, the status will change to reflect this accordingly.
