Delivery Docket / Picking Slip

Good Afternoon,

We currently utilise a docket book to produce individual hand written delivery dockets against deliveries.

These dockets are then transfered to our head office for invoicing.

There are numerous holes in the system and I would like to move to printed delivery dockets.

The issue is, that in our industry, generally the person issuing the stock and writing the delivery docket shouldnt be able to affect invoices or even see stock values.

Is there a 3rd party add-on that would allow us to issue delivery dockets out of the system prior to an order being converted to an invoice? Or some other way of issuing dockets from the system without giving the storeman invoice privilages?

Thanks in advance

Shane

Re: Delivery Docket / Picking Slip

Hi Shane,

Welcome to the community forum and I hope you find this useful.

AccountRight doesn't treat the picking slip as a separate transaction. It is part of Sales and therefore if you give access to create an order in the system and print the packing slip they will be able to create sale as well. But he will not be able to adjust inventory value. You can create a role for him to access only Sales command center and restrict him to see the inventory command center. I have linked you a help page to set up roles within AccountRight software

You would just raise a sale, and you can print a packing slip from that. You could create a sales order thus invoices as well and print a packing slip from that, or you can just create an invoice straight away and print the packing slip from the invoice instead. To print the sales order, go to the sales command center and click print/email invoices. Then click advanced filters, and change the sales type to the appropriate type of packing slip.

There are also add-ons available and please review the one that will be applicable to your scenario. I would recommend you to look through and search the best match for you on MYOB website below:
