Email attachment with Invoice Accountright 2020

I want to start emailing invoices directly from Accountright 2020, but I don't have an attachment icon to add my attachments.  Should I have this? If not why not.

Hi @Retrac 

 

External attachments can be added to the invoices via the Email window actioned from within the Enter/Edit Sales window, these can not be directly added to invoices emailed via the Print/Email Invoices window.

 

To email out an invoice with an attachment do complete the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the required invoice - i.e. Sales>>Sales Register>>Invoices and select the arrow next to the required invoice to open the Edit Sales window
  2. Choose Send to>>Email...
  3. Click the Attach button before navigating to the required attachment
  4. Ensure other listed details are correct before selecting Send

Hello @avtektoni1 

 

While AccountRight is not currently able to attach more than one document to an emailed invoice, you can get around this by combining multiple documents into 1 PDF file and attaching that PDF for emailing. Or, for invoices which require multiple documents, these could be sent from your external email program.
