Getting Error in easy set up

Hi there,

I amnew to this forum,tried my level best to resolve the issue,beloe is the issue.

When i click easy set up and then Click Sales OR Purchase,I am getting Error"Something went wrong  and account right needs to close",we are  really sorry .Error like this are usually one -offs but if you  keep having this  problem chek solution.

I apologise for the inconvenience this would be causing you.

Thank you very much for attaching the error log. We are looking it to what is causing this.

There are a few things we need to confirm/get you to try:

• Is your file online?
• If you go to 'Help -> About MYOB AccountRight', do you see a product level (eg. Plus or Standard)?
• Does the same thing happen in the Clearwater sample company file? (To access the sample company files, please click on 'Explore a sample company' located under the 'Recently opened company files' box in the AccoutRight welcome window)
• If you were to create an offline dummy file does this error happen when clicking on the 'Easy setup assistant' within this file?

Please let me know so we can get this rectified for you!

Product: Account right standard Au(Education) 2917.11.

Yes its happening in clear water sample file as well.

The last one its asking me for serial number which i dont have,but i am pretty sure this error might presume again.Cheers

Where did you initially get the download for the software installation from?

After looking into that link, it shows a download for AccountRight 2016.2. This out dated version is potentially the reason this is occurring.

Please view our help article 'Getting the latest version' for instructions on where to obtain a copy of the latest version (AccountRight 2017.1.1).
