Hi guys, I have scaled back my business and I want to get rid of monthly subscriptions. How can I still use Account Right without paying the monthly subscription?

Hi @honeydew
I understand that you have since spoken with our phone-based team who have arranged for that cancellation to occur and have indicated what will happen with access going forward. Note: you have a perpetual licence.

Thanks, but what do you mean by a "local" copy of company file?

Hi @honeydew
Local being the file being store and used in/from your local library (My Library) and not located in the cloud/online.
If your company file is stored online and you do wish to move it locally, you want to open that online file via Open a Company File>>Online. Once you have that file open, go File>>Backup. When that backup has been completed, you go to File>>Restore and select to Restore that company file into a library on your computer.

Thank you. I now do that, but how can I report to ATO my Single Touch Payroll?

There are other alternatives including free programmes for STP listed on the ATO website and elsewhere. Please feel free to private message me if you have trouble with this.
Cheers

Hi @honeydew
As Payroll Reporting is a "live" service you do need to have an active subscription per AccountRight company file that you wish to directly report your pays through to the ATO. The company file can be stored locally or online to report those pays, you just need to have an active internet connection and an active AccountRight subscription to report those pays directly from within the software.
