In Tray drag and drop

Having trouble since the last 2 updates, cant drag and drop pdf documents from emails into the in tray. Have to drop to desktop first then pick up from there and drop into in try

I'm sorry to hear this is occurring for you.

 

This is an issue that our teams are aware of and are still investigating, however at the moment it is proving difficult to pinpoint the cause due to the following:

 

  1. it appears to be environmental - only a small number of clients are affected, and no changes have been made to the In Tray
  2. it is intermittent - it resolved itself previously and has now stopped working again

In the meantime, dragging the entire email into InTray would work (which uploads all attachments within the email); dragging and dropping documents from local computer or emailing documents to InTray as you have been doing is also the current workaround. 

 

We do understand this is not ideal and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this matter.

Me too, can't drag and drop from emails. Has to be saved on my computer first then dragged over.

I was told to drag the whole email into my tray.  It works, then delete the email and keep the attachment in the tray.  MYOB should sort this

Thank you for your posts. 

 

We are in the process of sorting this out and hope to have a resolve as soon as possible. What would be helpful to our developers if you could please provide the following information:

 

  • Version, Build, & Channel of Outlook (Found in File -> Info/Account Info, under the About button)
  • Version of AccountRight (IE: 2020.1)
  • Version of Windows (IE: 8.1, 10)
  • Any Anti-Virus you might be using? (AVG, Avast, Windows Defender, etc)
  • Any Windows Updates you may have installed since it was last working
