Information not keeping when changing from quote/order/invoice

When you change between Quote, Order and Invoice, any information you have manually typed into "Ship to:" and "Journal Memo" is wiped and goes back to the default text that was there.

 

Having upgraded from Premier v19, this isn't an issue we've faced since going to 2019. This happens in both 2019.1 and 2019.2

 

Also, if I open an older sale and edit it (change to invoice etc), the next sale MYOB does, is for that old date that I was opening. Again, a problem that did not exist in Premier v19

just tried this in my file and it worked just fine, the manually typed text in both fields are retained using AR 2019.2

 

if you try a different file does it still do the same thing? try using the clearwater demo file, here's a link to do this: Using the sample company file (Clearwater)

 

gives us an idea of if this is just your file or not.

I opened the Clearwater file for 2019.2 and did the same thing and the same problem occured so it's not just my file.

Take note of the "Journal Memo" and the "Ship To:" boxes

Hi @shapemakers 

 

This is a known issue (bug) with AR20xx and the MYOB developers are aware.

I am not sure if a high priority for them to address.

 

The ONLY workaround is to save the quote or order first before changing to either order / invoice.

So many times I have lost the shipto address with this issue.

 

If you have upgraded from v19 to AR20xx you are going to have much pain like this.

Thanks Andrew. That's what I've been doing. I couldn't see anything on it and was told by one of the support team that they didn't know if it as a problem so thought best to lodge it.

 

Will wait it out it seems.
