Invoice layout fields on Item Invoice screen keep reverting to default

Ever since installing 2019.2 update of AccountRight, each time I go into the New Sale screen and attempt to create an invoice, I have to re-adjust the various fields on the Item Invoice screen, because I use a long description on my invoices.

I have just installed 2019.2.1 and the problem is still there.

This is extremely annoying as I do hundreds of invoices.

I understand this is being treated as a "high priority" by the MYOB development team but it's been happening for more than a month and given the amount we are paying for support I think this is totallly unacceptable.

Hi @bwhp 

 

We have identified that within the Enter Sales window the user-specified columns widths will reset in the AccountRight 2019.2(.1) after closing the window. This is something that we are working towards a fix for in the AccountRight 2019.3 update, currently no release date at this stage.

 

You can find more information and a potential workaround, that has worked some clients, for this situation on Column Width in Sales layout reverting to default

Thanks for the reply. The potential workaround actually makes things worse, as making the grid files read-only means they revert to the standard (incorrect) sizes after every single invoice.

Do you guys actually test anything before posting these unhelpful replies?

This is a major issue and should be made a priority. I can't believe that you would make your subscribers who pay for a service now have to wait until the next update with no due date. This is not an acceptable situation and is so time consuming perhaps we need to charge MYOB for the time it is taking it's clients to fix their issues.

Its an absolute joke !!

Cant beleive its not a priority...

Very close to changing away from MYOB.. as things like this are just not important to them.. and like you said maybe we should all start charging MYOB for the amount of time we are wasting every day adjusting columns so we can do our invoices.
