Invoices being sent from Outlook not showing up in the In Tray

Hi,

 

I have not been able to email invoices from Outlook (using Microsoft 365) and have them show up in the MYOB In Tray for a number of months. I can however email invoices to in the In Tray using the same email account by using my mobile phone utilising the Outlook app.

 

I have tried to reset the CACHE and reinstall MYOB but none of this has made a difference. I realise there are workarounds (drag and drop, etc) but my preference is to email the In Tray directly.

Hi @mking72 

 

Thank you for your post. As it is sending on one device, it sounds like it might be something environmental blocking those documents from being sent through on the computer specifically.

 

Can you check the outlook outbox and see if the document is stuck there? If you do see the document, then I recommend checking your outlook or antivirus/firewall settings to see if it's being blocked.

 

If that does not resolve the issue, could you reply with a screenshot so I can reproduce the error on my end?

Hi Samara,

Thanks for your email. It appears as the issue is something to do with Outlook.

 

In short, I have saved the In Tray email address into my contacts and all I need to type in the To Field is "MYOB" and it shows up as being sent from my end, however if I do it that way the email does not arrive at the In Tray.

 

If however I type in the actual email address and don't use the saved MYOB address from contacts it seems to arrive in the In Tray without any dramas (even though both emails are sent to the same email address).
