Logo borders showing in PDF

When printing an invoice in PDF format it prints out with the Image borders of our logo and any other images we have on the page (a thin grey box around the image).   It does not do this when I print it out on paper.   When I send invoices this way to clients it looks like I have just pasted my logo onto paper and photocopied it.  It does not look professional at all.

How can i fix this??

Re: Logo borders showing in PDF

Hi @JenJen8

Could you please let us know the following, so we can check it further for you?

- Which version of AccountRight are you using?

- Does it only happen to a particular customised form, or all custom forms?

- How did you go about printing the invoice to PDF? Which PDF printer did you use?

- If you open an existing invoice, choose Send to > Disk option from the top, does the saved PDF display images fine?

Please do let us know how you go.

Cheers,
Clover

Re: Logo borders showing in PDF

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

Version accountright Plus 2019.3

- It was happening in all forms, however i have just tried to save it to pdf the way you suggested - send to Disk and it has saved it correctly.

I was printing via print button and selecting microsoft print to pdf.

Thank you for your help, it is much appreciated.

When I use send to PDF both invoices and packing slips have grey borders (fine grey box) around them

How do I get rid of the box- just appreared- never had this probelm before (using MYOB 20 years)

Re: Logo borders showing in PDF

This doesnt work for packing slips- what do you do to remove the borders from packing slips- and why are the borders happening anyway?

Re: Logo borders showing in PDF

It was the Windows default PDF maker- downlaoded free Cute FTP and all good for invoices and packing slips.

But MYOB really should include option to email Packing slips- why not?

Re: Logo borders showing in PDF

Hi @Annelisa

I'm happy to hear you were able to resolve your issue. From an AccountRIght perspective packing slips are printed out to be given to the warehouse but I have passed on your feedback.

Please don't hesitate to post again if you have further questions.

Cheers,
Tracey

Re: Logo borders showing in PDF

That worked in the old days but we now dropship a lot of our goods so must email the packing slip to another organsiation who prints it off and attaches it to the goods. This will become more common in time so someting MYOB should address
