I was in Adjust Inventory as I was adjusting after a mini stocktake. I was systematically going through, had approx 20 part numbers already loaded and then MYOB just closed down. No warning, no adjustment - nothing just shut down. Now I have to go through and do it all again.
This has happened once before, but I thought it may have been something I did - but obviously not.
Any solution, other than doing adjustments in small batches?
Generally speaking, I would expect that an error message of some description would pop up when either AccountRight crashed and closed down or when it encountered some sort of error. Did any error message pop up at all or did the program just close down unexpectedly without any prompting?
If AccountRight was closing down without any sort of warning or error then this could indicate an environmental issue forcing the program to crash. Unfortunately there’s no one definite cause so you may need the assistance of your IT professional in troubleshooting potential environmental causes.
To help minimize some potential causes, it might be worth making sure that as many other programs are closed on that computer as possible. This would help free up system resources for AccountRight
No error message - it just closed without prompting.
I will mention it to our IT person next time he is here.
