Hi,
Is there a way to use macrons without cutting and pasting from a word document as per your solution below?
Is quite time consuming to have to cut and paste.
Thanks

Hi @jenniek
Just testing AccountRight I actually couldn't fault it and those characters did appear as expected within the software. This is a similar case as the browser interface for AccountRight.
From my testing, it does appear that the original MYOB Essentials platform is the one that is showing those characters with question marks.
Note: For testing purposes, I have been copying the characters rather than direct entry.
Kind regards,
Steven

While the AccountRight system can display and print that information, I was not able to directly add those characters through the ASCII options in my testing. The only way that I could think they could be added would be through the use of copy and paste.

Hi @Steven_M, @Yolanda_Soryl , it is possible to type the extended ascii set 'directly', see https://www.ascii-code.com/ for the codes used below and others:
à - Hold down the Alt key and type 0224 on the numeric keypad
á - Alt + 0225
â - Alt + 0226
etc
