Mpowered services status

Does anyone have any updates regarding the status of Mpowered services functionality in new software? Still using Accountright with Mpowered services because I cant see a replacement available. 

Does version 2020.2 cater?

The majority of M-Powered services are available in AccountRight 2020:

• M-Powered Bank Statements are now Bank Feeds
  
  
• M-Powered Superannuation is now Pay Superannuation (and is SuperStream compliant)
  
  
• M-Powered Invoices is available in AccountRight 2020 but the payment does need to be entered manually. Although, we do recommend using Online invoicing as this is the successor to that.
  
  
• M-Powered Payments is being moved to direct electronic payments. This service is currently being rolled out to clients in stages. With the initial stages released this month, with larger companies being offered this functionality in the near future. However, more information on this topic can be found on Setting up AccountRight for direct electronic payments

The problem is that Direct Pyaments can only be made using a debit or credit card that is hardly helpful to companies like ours that make payments using M-Powered of up to $1.5m / month.  We are currently in limbo, stuck in the old version with limited support or move forward to a version that does allow us to operate the way we need. Would love it if someone could give me a helpful solution, Thanks

M-Powered Payments is a feature that is currently being work on for inclusion into the AccountRight 20xx product range. It is a feature that is being released in stages with the current focus on smaller businesses (Sole Traders and/or Private Companies), with larger companies being offered that functionality in the future (no ETA as yet).

I assume you are referring to M-Powered Payments? The AccountRight 2020 replacement for this is being released slowly to users in stages. More information can be found on Making electronic payments directly

Can payments be made directly from a bank account rather than a Visa or Debit card?

The electronic payment direct functionality will only allow for payments to be made via VISA or debit cards. Payments can be processed through a bank account using the ABA/bank file upload method as required.
