Payroll

I have tried several times to print entitlement balance reports from payroll.  I am often getting this error.

Re: Payroll

HI @RoebuckMS

Thanks for that error log that was very helpful in understanding what is going on.

Are you able to clarify exactly when the error is coming up when you’re trying to run and print the reports. Is it when you run the report? When you change one or more filters?

As the errors in the error log can be caused by a couple of different things, if we can pinpoint exactly when the error is coming up can help resolve the issue.

If you are changing filters on the report and getting the error, does the same error happen if you use the Advanced Filters to select the same information does the error come up?

Do let us know how you get on with this

Regards,
Neil

Re: Payroll

It happens as soon as you want to change the filters eg. choosing 1 employee or even choosing a different period range.

Re: Payroll

HI @RoebuckMS

Thanks for clarifying that.

Are you using Windows 10 on this computer by any chance?

We are aware of an issue affecting some users who have had the Windows 10 Anniversary update install on their computer that causes issues when changing the filters on a run report. Our development team are aware of this issue and working on a resolution for this, however we don’t have an exact time frame on when this resolution will be available.

To get around this, we recommend using the Advanced Filters option to choose the filters you want before running the report. This should avoid the error coming up for you. If you do need to change the filters, you will unfortunately need to close out of the report and rerun the report with the new filters using the advanced filters option.

Regards,
Neil
