Transactions cant be changed

Just upgraded to AR 2019. Now we find that Sales or Purchases cant be changed after being recorded.

Preferences- security- "transactions cant be changed" is unticked but still we cant change purchase orders, eg to reflect items short supplied and backordered. The blue arrow next to the item ihas a white centre which indicates 'cant be changed'---- and we cant change that setting- ( I have administrator access)

Thank you for the post!

 

A transaction can be edited or deleted only if it is changeable. A changeable transaction is identified by a white zoom arrow (⇨) next to it.Occasionally, however, you may need to make changes to, or delete, a transaction you have already recorded.
