Solved: Go to Solution

Unable to edit purchases

Hi

Yesterday our program decided it would not allow us to edit any invoice details.  I have checked the security level and 

all is okay there.  The following window pops up when we try to do anything once an invoice has been 

entered

Error

DataInvalid 

and thats it.  

You can not delete the transaction either.

We are using MYOB Account Right Plus 2016.2.2

Version 2016.2.18

Please can some one help.

Hi there @Webb1,

 

The error message suggests that this is an issue that requires sending your company file in for our AccountRight Live team to investigate and fix. I have sent you a private message to organise for this.

Hi Rowan

 

The problem was with a double entry that had somehow happened in the program.

I had to contact MYOB and allow them to get into my file and they located the offending entry and fixed the problem.  They had the file overnight as no one else could use it while they did the fix.  I had it back by the time we started work the next day.

It was the only way they could fix it.
