Re: Validation Exception error when saving recurring sales transactions

Hi @Feebee0801,

There are 2 common ways to resolve this:

  1. Go to Setup > Preferences > System. Remove the tick on “warn if jobs are not assigned to all transactions” this will allow you to make changes to the recurring sale.
  2. If the recurring transaction has been migrated from version 19 or below delete it and recreate it.

If the issue still persists after doing both of these, please let us know and we can give you further instructions.

Cheers,
Jake

Re: Validation Exception error when saving recurring sales transactions

Thanks Jake, appreciate the basic support but we’ve tried all this while I was on the live chat. Two diagnostic files have been emailed to MYOB Support and the problem still isn’t resolved.

They have told me it’s likely to take days to fix this issue and I don’t have days to wait. I need these sales orders in the system now. So I will have to key each one manually rather than use a recurring sales order that will reduce the keying time by about 10 hours!

So this is frustrating in today’s so called modern business world of online accounting.
