Validation Exception error when saving recurring sales transactions

I'm trying to edit/save a recurring transaction and I keep getting the Validation Exception error message.


I found the solution about unticking the "Warn if Jobs Are Not Assigned to All Transactions" solution but this didn't work for me as it was already unticked.


Is there another solution??

Hi @CassCool,


Glad that you have already found and tried a solution that we have. Here is another one that you can try. If the recurring transaction was originally made in a v19.XX of AccountRight please delete and recreate the transaction.


Otherwise if not please grab the error log after intentionally crashing the software again.


To locate and open the diagnostics file please read the following.


The location of the file is:

  • C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\MYOB\AccountRight\20XX.X\Diagnostics

If you are not able to see the AppData folder:

  • Press the Windows Key + R at the same time.
  • Once the run window appears then type in %localappdata%
  • Click Ok

The run window looks like this:



The file will be called Huxley.Application and the file type is TXT.
