hi,
I don't have the 'Transactions Can't Be Changed' box ticked.
but I cannot delete the payment .
Is there a way to do it?

There are a few reasons why you would not be able to change a transaction within a company file. The common situations are below:
If you are unable to change a transaction, I would first make sure that you are signing in to the company file as the Administrator user. If you are doing that, I would see if it's all transactions or only transactions for a period of time i.e. after the end of a financial year?
If this doesn't help, please attach a screenshot of the transaction you're trying to delete or send it via Private Message so we can investigate further.

Yes, in order to delete that, you will have to go to Transaction Journal>>Receipts>>Search by dates the deposit was prepared and then delete the deposit transaction which would appear like :
Once the deposit transaction is deleted, you can delete the individual payment linked to the transaction.
