customised forms missing

Updated to 2019.2 SE today. 

 

Wow, what a surprise, still has bugs

 

This time my customised templates have all been stuffed up

 

No logo's, and the format is not as it should be

 

The names of my customised templates all appear in the drop down list,  they just don't look like I designed them

After 1.5 hours on hold with MYOB technical support, I found a solution

 

Assuming you are using Account Right V 2019.2 SE

Exit MYOB

On your keyboard press the windows icon and R (this will open a window headed run)

In the open space type %localappdata%

OK

Find the MYOB file and open

Open Account Right

Open 2019.1

Make a new folder called Old Cache

Open the Cache file

Cut all files from Cache file and copy to Old Cache file

 

Open 2019.2

Make a new folder called Old Cache

Open the Cache file

Cut all files from Cache file and copy to Old Cache file

 

Open MYOB and do a test print, everything should work

 

(MYOB said it may happen again, in which case clear all the files from the Cache file to the Old Cache file again)

Hi Everyone


As has been mentioned, we are currently aware of an issue with customise forms in AccountRight 2019.2 which will result in the incorrect form being used when customising and/or when emailing/printing. This is something that we have raised as a high priority issue with our product development teams to investigate and resolve at the earliest.

 

More information and a temporary workaround that has worked for some client can be found on Customise form usage in AccountRight 2019.2

No this hasn't fixed it

 

I have to remove the files from the Cache file every 2nd day

 

MYOB you need to do better

Me too - I have so many customised forms and that will be very time consuming to recreate them - hope MYOB can fix quickly.

I have the same problem! Great timing for end of month and over an hour wait on the phone!!  NOT GOOD ENOUGH MYOB we are losing money as most companies have a cut off for receiving invoices on the 4th which is today so now we won't get paid next month but the following month! Can we invoice MYOB for lost revenue and lost time fixing this error and waiting on the phone for who knows how long?

This solution doesn't work the problem just keeps returning. I find I have to keep shuting down and restaring Accountright but even then some forms may be okay while others may not. MYOB have known about this problem for long enough and it should have been fixed by now. I have had to use the MYOB version for my monthly statements today because no matter what I do my customised statements will not load.
