recurring

We have lost all our recurring transactions for sales orders and quotes.

As we had quite alot sorted, we are unsure of how many we lost.

Please advise what may have gone wrong

Re: recurring

Hi @SydLift

This is an odd situation as the recurring transactions should not be automatically disappearing unless they have been manually removed from the system. I would recommend checking the session security audit report to check if there was unusual login activity in your account.

In terms of restoring and checking the missing recurring transactions, you will have to restore a backup from the period when the transactions were existing and will have to either restore it or manually enter the missing transactions in the current file.

Kind regards,
Komal

Re: recurring

Hi @SydLift

You would be basically be looking for the time in the report that is different from your normal login times. However, please note that the entry with SYSTEM as the user ID is created when the recurring transactions are automatically recorded in the file or if bank feeds are sent, therefore, it will be safe to ignore these.

If you do not find anything suspicious with the other logons, it would be best to re-enter the lost transactions.

Kind regards,
Komal

Re: recurring

Hi Komal,

Thats the problem, we have gone to alot of trouble to create recurring transactions to save us time.

You saying we now have to re-enter them is not a solution to why we lost them in the 1st place.

I would be looking at this as a bug in my or MYOB'S system. I would assume this happened on one of the updates.

Our problem is we don't have a record of the recurring transactions and will only remember them as we receive customers orders.
