wrong curency used for inventory purchase

Hi ,

Could you please let us know how to correct currency from NZD to EUR in  inventory purchase recorded in MYOB.   The bill hasn't been paid yet but most of the inventory has been sold to clients already.  It appears to be impossible changing the currency from the supplier’s card .

Re: wrong curency used for inventory purchase

Hi @rubi

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find it a wealth of knowledge

When dealing with multi-currency in AccountRight Classic (v19), once a transaction has been recorded for a supplier that currency is locked for that card and is unable to be changed. The currency on the supplier's card also determines the currency used on purchases for that supplier.

If you have incorrectly set the currency on the card, you would be looking at deleting the transactions associated with that card. Once those transactions have been deleted, you would be free to change the currency on that card.  Do note that if the purchase was an item purchase and those items are sold, you would be looking at deleting those sale transactions before deleting the purchase in this situation.

Kind Regards,
Steven
